I just watched an interview with a director who is releasing an independent feature-length film on Sept. 30, about 7 hours before my book is released. He was asked if he was excited. He said, “No, it’s terrifying.” I found myself nodding in agreement. It is scary to put yourself out there. I completely share his sentiment.

Annie. Foster mom. Self-taught baker and chef. Avid reader. Though strict and a bit old-school, she's a fierce protector of the children under her care. But she knows things she couldn't possibly know. Jayne believes she's either watching the kids with surveillance cameras or is psychic... yes, she's most definitely psychic. Annie is a supporting character in "The Author and The Illustrator."
