This class is a mix of Vinyasa and Hatha Yoga which, introduces some more challenging aspects of a Yoga practice, such as more alignment and more emphasis on transitions. Expect a healthy tempo, introductions of inversions and backbends, and refining with detailed instruction. This class is intended for all levels. (Participating in Foundation Yoga is encouraged before this level.) Every teacher shares this class differently, so you have lots of chances to try new things. We encourage students that have no Yoga experience to come to the Foundation Series or Yoga Lite class.
Looking to work on your alignment for a specific pose? Want a sequence designed specifically for an injury? Want to strengthen your weak back, knees, etc? A private lesson is designed specifically to meet your own individual needs and to help you discover your own potential for your yoga practice.
Your private lesson will include a 15 minute phone call with me to discuss your specific needs. This will give me a chance to design a lesson to address your problem areas, and make a well-rounded sequence just for you! During your lesson, you can ask as many questions as possible. I’ll also include a handout for your continued home study.
